Abstract:
This report discusses the last two methods evaluated for coating rhodium wire with flexible high temperature dielectric films. Thermal decomposition of triple-oxide coating and electrostatic deposition have been successfully completed. The final design of the power wire consists in bulk insulation of Kaowool, Refrasil sleeving, and quartz cord the outer sheath is a knitted inconel wire mesh with monel electrical terminals.
