Corporate Author:
STANFORD UNIV CA MICROWAVE LAB
Report Date:
1966-06-01
Abstract:
Tasks reported on during this reporting period are 1 thin film transducers 2 acoustic wave devices 3 carrier wave propagation 4 whistler mode propagation in solids 5 theory of carrier wave propagation 6 periodic ferrite delay lines 7 adiabatic magnetoelastic conversion in the time domain, and 8 theory of the gunn effect. Items 7 and 8 are new tasks reported on for the first time. The emphasis of the work under this contract is on the use of solid state phenomena for performing conventional microwave device functions applicable to phased array radar systems.
