Abstract:

The NAVAIRDEVCEN laboratory investigation indicated that the lamp load of the C-130 airplane was not the cause of the reported switch failures. The exact cause of the failures was undetermined. The evaluation did indicate that switches listed presently on QPL-3950 could not meet all of the present requirements of Specification No. MIL-S-3950. It is recommended that all switches listed presently in QPL-3950 be resubmitted for qualification approval. Author
