Title:

Abstract:
A bilaminar disk has a low fundamental resonant frequency associated with small size. Application of this quality for practical transducers has been restricted due to the lack of suitable edge supporting devices for bilaminar disks. Various geometrical configurations for use as edge supports are considered in this report. Of these, it is concluded that a bilaminar disk supported above and below by a triangular ring will operate in the supported edge made. Finally, the design, construction, and testing of a waterproofed bilaminar disk using triangular ring supporting devices is described. Author
