Abstract:
Work in this quarter has been centered on discussion of the experimental program with special emphasis on statistical experimental design. Six months delayed testing of some earlier factory made lots still shows better low temperature service for experimental cells vs control. Intermediate temperature 0 F testing in addition to previous -40 F. testing also shows advantages with experimental cells over factory product. Seal work continues to demonstrate continuing improvements. Minimum military requirements of 30 days at 160 F and 90 days at 113 F have been surpassed. Author
