Research was conducted in the following areas equilibrium thermodynamic properties of high-temperature air and air with additives, fluid dynamics of wakes behind hypersonic bodies, relaxation processes in the upper atmosphere, shock tube measurements of reaction rates in nitric oxide, theoretical and experimental evaluation of electron scattering cross sections, numerical calculations of inviscid supersonic flow fields, and measurements of microwave characteristics of the wakes of hypersonic projectiles.
