Abstract:

The classical hypervirial relations are considered in detail. Many examples are given of the calculation of average values of dynamical correlations and other statistical moments of the trajectories. It is shown that an approximate trajectory which satisfies a particular hypervirial relation is stable or at least stationary with respect to an infinitesimal contact transformation. Author
