Abstract:
IN RECENT YEARS THERE HAS BEEN A MARKED INTEREST IN THE ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF VARIOUS TYPES OF CONTROL SYSTEMS. In particular, there has been a growing interest in those systems which are characterized by randomly varying parameters. It is assumed that the randomness of the system may be adequately described by a two-level quantization. A two-level quantization means that the system alternates between two known configurations at random times. The philosophy and technique developed by Shaw are employed to deal with a problem of compensation for a system whose randomness is describable by a twolevel quantization. Author
