Abstract:

Fabric and seam adhesion tests as well as cylinder burst tests were made to determine the condition of fabric and seams in ZPG-22W airship envelopes D-611, cotton fabric with 3962.3 flight hours, and D-631, dacron fabric with 823.7 flight hours. The fabric in envelope D-611 is two ply cotton Goodyear Aircraft Corporation GAC Code N113A-410. The fabric in envelope D-631 is two ply Dacron GAC code N313A-200. Author
