Title:
LOW LEVEL WIND MEASUREMENTS FOR BALLISTIC APPLICATION
Corporate Author:
ARMY ELECTRONICS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE NM
Report Date:
1962-01-01
Abstract:
Application of the low level wind turbulence spectrum to the ballistic missile problem with the aid of Taylors hypothesis is discussed. Results of cross-spectral analysis are discussed with reference to predicting the wind at the launcher from a sensor at some point in space away from the launcher. Examples of spectral and cross-spectral estimates are presented.
