Bimonthly progress rept. no. 1, 8 Apr-8 June 60, by Edmond F. E. Zeijdel. 11 July 60, 3p. Contract NOw 60-0726-c Continuation of Contract NOas 59-6135-c Unclassified report DESCRIPTORS Guided missiles, F LUTTER, Mathematical analysis, Differential equations, Partial differential equations, Supersonics, Aerodynamics, Wings. The primary objective of this research program is to determine the unsteady aerodynamic forces on slender supersonic missiles. The unsteady aerodynamic forces will be determined on the basis of quasi-slender body theory and particular emphasis will be placed on the case of wing bending. This work is a continuation of work completed under BuAer Contract NOas 59-6135-c AD-242 907. During this report period, initial efforts were made to give an example which illustrates the theory developed under the previous contract. Author
