Title:
RESEARCH ON INTERNAL FLOW IN MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMICS AND PLASMA-DYNAMICS
Corporate Author:

Report Date:
1961-05-01
Abstract:
A summary of a group of five related papers is presented. Each is concerned with the parallel, steady or unsteady, flow of an incompressible, viscous, electrically conducting fluid through a duct with a steady transverse applied magnetic field. The fluid is caused to flow across the magnetic field lines by applying a pressure gradient or by moving portions of the walls. The effects of duct geometry, wall conductivity and unsteadiness is investigated. Author
