Abstract:
The components required for the modification of a HTM production furnace, which will be used for coating POLARIS A-3 nozzles with carbides, were constructed and final preparations are being made for the start of operation. The investigation was continued for the development of sound crack-free tantalum carbide coating on ARC nozzles and success was achieved. Two additional hafnium carbide coated ARC test nozzles were produced in addition to plate specimens for property measurements. Author
