Abstract:
Subjects with normal and known gaits were used. The changes in the knee and ankle angles were recorded by means of elgons. By using this method, it is relatively easy to determine and measure factors characterizing gait amount and sequence of angular changes, duration of swing and support phases. The addition of artificial limbs in above-the-knee amputees was also recorded and analyzed.
