Abstract:
Progress was made in curing copolymers of CF2CFClCF2CH2 X-300 series with diisocyanates. The 3070 molar copolymer was as oil-resistant as the 5050 and offered a 6-9 deg C advantage in TR-70 temperature the 6238 product was not notably rubber-like. Stepwise exposure of MDI vucanizates of X- 300 to higher temperatures produced a material which was serviceable up to 537 deg F.
