Abstract:

Time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect is used for studying the ultrafast spin dynamics in a semiconductor heterostructure AlGaAsGaAs in the subpicosecond time range. Results are analyzed on the basis of the semiconductor Bloch equations.
