Abstract:

The symmetry of wurtzite GaNsub m AlNsub n, is established to depend on the numbers of monolayers of constituent materials in the primitive cell being C4 to 6V odd mn or C1 to 3V even mn. As a result it was shown that the number of Raman active modes depends non-monotonically on mn.
