Abstract:

The Transonic Small Disturbance TSD equation provides a fast and efficient tool for calculating both static and dynamic nonlinear aerodynamic effects. To become an accepted part of the aircraft design process, time-accurate TSD equation solvers for aeroelastic calculations now need to be evaluated on realistic aircraft configurations that have complex geometry.
