Abstract:

This session on experimental results provided both a review of satellite charging and laboratory results plus a discussion of new data with emphasis on the recent shuttle test flights. This panel provided, in essence, the type of basic input data required for modeling efforts. Most of the results were new to the modeling community and some of them are not understood even at a rudimentary level at this point. Some results require only changes in data bases of existing models.
