Abstract:

This new system, to be installed in 1983, was based on two years of research by a six-person team. Unique features of the appraisal system are a a new approach to numerical scale anchoring, b a built-in score-monitoring system, and c the ability to adapt the system to each occupation to according to the importance of each assessment factor in that occupation, while maintaining a standard format.
