This invention relates to the filed of prosthesis apparatus for use in achieving precision movement and overcoming neurological dysfunction movements of a human limb. The present invention provides for assisted movement of a human limb such as a hand and its appendages, and is usable in a variety of conditions wherein the unassisted movement provided by the human subject is unsatisfactory for accomplishing a predetermined task. Principal uses contemplated, therefore, for the invention include assistance to impaired function patients and extension of the normal range of human movements into the realm of greater precision and smaller dimensional capabilities.
