This invention relates to explosives and more particularly to polynitro organic explosives. An object of this invention is to provide new energetic explosive compounds. Other objects of this invention are to provide new pentafluorothio polynitroaliphatic explosives to provide new high melting pentafluorothio polynitroaliphatic explosives to provide new high energy, high density explosives and to provide new high energy explosives having good thermal stabilities.
