Abstract:

An airflow particulate mass measuring apparatus directs the incoming particulate by means of a wedge ring and a central parabolic needle to strike in a capture annulus of a spinner whose change inn angular rotation is related to the mass of the particulate striking the spinner. A plurality of torque blades on the spinner cause the particulate to be accelerated and centrifugally ejected. Patents. MJM
