A method of bonding propellant to the insulation in a motor chamber by use of an adhesive and powder granule layer. An object of this invention is to develop a method bonding the propellant to the liner or insulation inside the motor chamber. A further object is to develop a bond which will not allow the propellant to separate from the insulation, i.e. no unbonded areas. These and other objects have been demonstrated by the present invention wherein the inside surface of the liner or insulation is coated with adhesive and partially embedded with powder granules followed by casting the propellant against the adhesive and partially embedded granules.
