The patent relates to a pressure sensitive regulating valve formed of a spring mounted within a conduit in which fluid flow is to be regulates. The fluid flow is regulated by the pressure responsive expansion and contraction of axially deformable spring whose successive convolutions alternately increase and decrease the free-flow volume of the space surrounding the spring as the spring responds to alternate increases and decreases of pressure exerted thereon.
