This is followed by a brief overview of the Chickamauga Campaign and Battle, and a description of Stewart and his unit. Thereafter, the focus will be on Stewarts actions from the crossing of Thedfords Ford on 18 September 1863, to the closing shots of the battle on the evening of the Twentieth. This will include the initial action at the Ford site on the eighteenth and Stewarts numerous attacks on the afternoon of the nineteenth. Also included is his attack on the morning of the twentieth and his final attack later that evening.
