Abstract:

Two Sanders Associates Incorporated pressure gradient directional sensors capable of deep ocean operation were evaluated at the NAVAIRDEVCENS open Water Facility under simulated acoustical and environmental conditions. Measured acoustic performance was satisfactory except for narrow frequency bands where the directivity and receiving response were degraded.
