A target acquisition test program was conducted by ECOMTRADOC at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, during the period 4 November through 11 December 1974. A mini-RPV Melpar E-35 carrying an unstabilized day TV camera was employed to detect, recognize, and identify a variety of stationary tactical targets. The target acquisition tests consisted of both a road search and an area search. This report includes a description of the test equipment and the test design as well as a presentation and discussion of the test results.
