Abstract:
The purpose of this test program was to study the resistance of units of varying material, shape, and strength in relation to atomic blast forces of varying magnitude. This test was conducted on a model basis, with the intent to coordinate results with theoretical analyses and dynamic resistance studies to form a reasonable basis for the design of blast resistant structures.
