Abstract:

The objectives of this project were to 1 measure airblast phenomena in the high-, moderate- and low-pressure regions along a blast line 2 integrated new data with existing nuclear blast information and 3 evaluate new types of pressure transducers and recorders for use on nuclear tests. Information which was obtained is contained in the form of tables and graphs. A tabulation indicating success of the instrumentation and a discussion of anomalies is presented.
