Operation HARDTACK. Projects 8.7/2.12d. Thermal Radiation from Very-Low- Yield Burts, April-October 1958
KAMAN TEMPO SANTA BARBARA CA
Pagination or Media Count:
THe objectives of Project 8.7 were to determine the thermal radiant exposure calsq cm versus distance from ground zero for a fractional-kiloton nuclear device and the total luminous flux lumenssq ft as a function of both time and distance from ground zero. Theobjectives of Project 2.12d at shot Hamilton were to determine the thermal radiant exposure versus distance for a fractional-kiloton detonation, and to compare the experimentally obtained radiant-exposure values with those calculated from existing scaling laws. Keywords Nuclear explosion testing and NTPR Nuclear Test Personnel Review.
