DAMDS is developed from data submitted by components of the Department of Defense DoD on all contract actions over 10,000. These data are available on computer listings which have been sorted either by contractor name alphabetical or by place of performance geographic. The first line of each entry Line 1 identifies the contractor and the place of performance ad provides the associated contractor, city, and state or foreign country codes. Data on each individual award to that contractor are then displayed on a single line Line 2. A summary of the Line 2 column headings, the data elements shown in each column, and the page in this manual on which each is explained begins on page 2. This manual is intended to assist the user of these computer listings in understanding the range of data presented.
