The scope of this project was to determine a if a technique of electrodepositing chromium plate on steel can be established for the purpose of controlling the degree of adhesion of the plate and holding the adhesion of each of several degrees within fairly narrow limits and b the influence of a wide range of temperature on the yield and fracture strengths of plated steels having various microstructures. Preliminary conclusions and experimental data are provided.
