Abstract:

The effort investigates experiments on supermacrocycles which are 2D polymers reminiscent of graphene. Semi empirical calculations indicate the important structure of such new polymeric structures. The effort also developed a new instrument that allows measuring spatial dependence of linear and nonlinear light scattering HRS, and assess hyperpolarisability tensor components, electric as well as magnetic, of the materials.
