Abstract:

Objectives During this tutorial, we will describe Motivation and design principles for an analysis course that also serves CMMI and Six Sigma. A problem-solving methodology and its relationship to CMMI, plus, a selection of its steps and analytical tools, A cost and schedule variance reduction case study. At the completion of this tutorial, you should be able to explain considerations for building your own training courses if you need to do so, an overview of the DMAIC methodology, performance driven process improvement, process variation, Y to x flowdown or critical to quality flowdown, performance driven subprocess selection, how to examine and improve the quality of your data set, baselining and the basic tools , and an example of a process performance models.
