Our overall objectives are to develop a process oriented model for the prediction of scour, burial, and station keeping of mines and neutralization devices deployed in the shallow waters of the global coastal zone and to place this model, complete with code and descriptive text, in the OceanAtmosphere Model Library OAML. To provide global capability, we developed a classification system that orders world coastal diversity into categories that optimize the portability of the model.
