The Defense Environmental International Cooperation DEIC program is a tool for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Combatant Commands CCMDs to use as part of their security cooperation engagement activities with other nations. The projects it supports focus on defense-related, environmental themes, with special priority on projects that promote mission sustainment, innovative approaches to environment, safety and occupational health ESOH risk management, andor building capacity for strategic partnerships. IDA reviewed the execution of the Fiscal Year 2014 FY14 DEIC program, assessed the programs performance for that year, and recommended metrics to evaluate and changes to implement to enhance the programs future execution.
