CIVIL ENGINEER SQUADRON (90TH) WARREN AFB WY
Pagination or Media Count:
F. E. Warren Air Force Base FEW proposes to repair and replace the Crow Creek Lift Station in Building 510. The purpose of this action is to prevent the wastewater spill that is likely to occur because the Lift Station is ageing and likely to fail in the foreseeable future. Building 510, the lift station, built in 1951, is the sole wastewater lift station supporting F. E. Warren AFB FEW and is showing signs of foundation de-lamination. The wet well portion of the lift station where sewage collects prior to being pumped up to the main sewer distribution line is old and corroded from sewage gases. The lift station is approximately 164 feet from the centerline of Crow Creek 90 CES GeoBase Viewer, 2007. The proposed action is approximately 15 feet outside the 100-year floodplain. This EA identifies, describes, and evaluates the potential direct, indirect, and cumulative environmental impacts that could result from the construction of the proposed action.
