Pursuant to provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act NEPA, 42 U.S. Code 4321 et seq., implementing Council on Environmental Quality CEQ regulations, 40 Code of Federal Regulations CFR 1500-1508, and 32 CFR Part 989, Environmental Impact Analysis Process, the United States U.S. Air Force and Space Exploration Technologies SpaceX conducted an assessment of the potential environmental consequences associated with the operation of the Falcon 9 and Falcon 9 Heavy launch vehicle programs from Space Launch Complex 4 East SLC-4E on Vandenberg Air Force Base V AFB or Base, California. The Environmental Assessment EA, incorporated by reference to this finding, considers all potential environmental impacts of the Proposed Action and the No-Action Alternative.
