Abstract:

The objective of this research project is to develop a new class of energetic materials comprised of an organic fuel i.e NH4 paired with a strong oxidizing perfluorohalogenate anion i.e. BrF4-. New EM compounds will be synthesized, fully characterized and evaluated for counter-CBW applications.
