Abstract:

Multinational intelligence presents the operational commander with a variety of issues. These issues can negatively impact the function of intelligence and its ability to provide information and assessments that help to facilitate the accomplishment of the multinational mission. A proper understanding of these issues is the critical first step in formulating an effective plan to leverage the benefits of multinational intelligence while minimizing any potential negative impact on operational success. This paper explains the key issues involved in multinational intelligence, and discusses actions that the operational commander can take to mitigate them.
