Abstract:
Complementary metal oxide-semiconductor CMOS compatible nanotechnology was investigated under this effort to advance information technology by leveraging the well-proven vast functionality of the existing industry-standard CMOS integrated circuit manufacturing base. Our in-house facility development focused on establishing a very high resolution photoluminescence measurement system to investigate CMOS compatible nanotechnology memristive devices. The reduced size, increased efficiencies and added functionalities of memristive structures may now become available to existing CMOS technologies.
