Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to evaluate and establish the effectiveness of three behavioral treatments for PTSD exposure, cognitive, and skills assertivenessrelaxation therapies provided in a group format. Active recruitment and treatment began February 2009. A total of 97 study subjects completed the initial assessment and 86 were randomized to either the minimal attention wait-list arm or the treatment arm. In year five, no adverse events occurred. Subject enrollment was closed on 912012 and all assessments and treatments completed on 452013, just prior to the end of year 5. The study remains open for data analysis.
