Abstract:

The overall objective of this research program was to develop a new synthetic approach to produce chemically-stable Al nanoparticles on the sub -10nm scale with temperature-triggerable protective coatings using sonochemistry. Although the overall objectives have not changed since the beginning of this research program, Specific Research Objectives have been revised each year based on the analysis of the obtained results in order to better address current research challenges.
