Abstract:

US DoD Relies on Training Ranges Managed by Foreign Military Partners Governments. Sharing Challenges Best Practices Key to Sustainment. Cooperative Sustainability of the Military Training Mission Workshop Developed to Assist U.S. Engagement with Host Nation. Workshop - Scalable Adaptable to Meet Your Needs. USEUCOM and USAFRICOM Tested the Workshop. For this E2S2 presentation USEUCOM will describe how use of this tool supported the larger UShost nation bilateral engagement framework and collaboration with service components, the US country teams, and host nation. USAREUR will describe the selection and modification of the topicspecific brief modules to tailor the information for engagement with Romania, Bulgaria and Swaziland and the sharing GIS information for the use of the host nations. BAH will describe the development of the tool, revision of modules to reflect emerging encroachment challenges, and execution of the tool in a workshop. The tool itself was demonstrated at 2008 Joint Service Environmental Management Conference.
