Abstract:

The Defense Language and National Security Education Office DLNSEO oversees the development of tools to track and manage regional proficiency capabilities in the force as specified in DoD Instruction 5160.70, Management of DoD Language and Regional Proficiency Capabilities. The 2011 QRPS was requested by DLNSEO to provide survey results for the validation of a Regional Proficiency Assessment Tool that will allow the Services to assign regional proficiency ratings and record them in personnel files.
