Abstract:

From testing completed, it was found that FRF blends can be successfully used in typical compression ignition engines with an associated power loss depending on FRF blend proportions. Typical engine output losses vary from 3 to 9 in peak power and torque depending on injection system configuration and FRF blend chemistry.
