A high resoluton ocena model is configured to resolve the hydrodynamic processes in Skagit Bay, Washington. Model skill is evaluated by comparison with tidal harmonics. A sequence of meshes is employed to establish grid independence of the resulting solution. Resolution of the floodingdrying process is evaluated by comparison with a wetdry front resolving scheme.
