Abstract:
MIT Lincoln Laboratory is a Department of Defense DoD federally funded research and development center working on problems critical to national security. The Laboratorys core competencies are in sensors, information extraction signal processing and embedded computing, communications, cyber security, integrated sensing, and decision support. Technology development is geared to the Laboratorys primary mission areas-space control air and missile defense communication systems intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems advanced electronics tactical systems homeland protection and chemical and biological defense cyber security and air traffic control. Two of the Laboratorys principal technical objectives are 1 the development of components and systems for experiments, engineering measurements, and tests under field operating conditions and 2 the dissemination of information to the government, academia, and industry.
