Abstract:

Mean values and fluctuations of the temperature and the three-dimensional wind vector in the atmospheric surface layer was measured with ultrasonic anemometerthermometers sonics. The system performance was quantified by comparing observed turbulence spectra with inertial-range spectra predicted by the classical theory of homogeneous and isotropic turbulence.
